Other times, we know what’s ahead, but it can still feel overwhelming when it arrives.
Whether it’s a new opportunity or an unexpected disruption that throws off our routines, strains relationships, or makes work feel less satisfying, each experience gives us a chance to pause, reflect, and adapt.

ABOUT ME
CERTIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
I have a BA in psychology and I received training in coaching, counseling and relational psychoanalytic therapy. I offer coaching and psychological counselling.

My style is interactive, collaborative, and supportive.
I work together with my clients to create a space that feels safe and comfortable, allowing us to reflect openly on the changes they wish to make in their lives.

Whether it's navigating a new career path, relocating for personal or professional reasons, moving on after a separation, or adjusting to a new stage in life, like for example welcoming children or retiring, transitions and changes can feel daunting and often bring emotional turmoil.

Having personally transitioned careers after 15 years in the communication industry and spent several years living outside my home country, I deeply understand the challenges, dilemmas, and emotional struggles that come with major career and life transitions.
Many of my clients face similar situations.
Together, we work on gaining clarity, breaking down barriers, and developing strategies to approach these transitions with confidence and a sense of purpose.

MY COACHING
PRACTICE
For many of us, work plays a central role in our lives.
Beyond helping us pay the bills, it occupies a large portion of our waking hours and, over time, becomes deeply intertwined with our sense of identity and purpose. We set high expectations for our careers, seeking meaning and fulfillment, while also viewing work as a path for personal growth and a way to expand our social connections.

However, as we grow older, we may start to question whether the career choices we made earlier in life still align with our current values and needs. Some of us begin to wonder if it's time to reflect on these decisions before it feels too late to make a change.

Career coaching offers tools to help you reflect on what has brought you to this point and explore possible directions for your future career. By gaining clarity on your past and understanding your current motivations, coaching can guide you toward meaningful decisions about the path ahead.

In our coaching journey, we’ll begin by exploring your current situation—understanding who you are, what brought you to this point, and where you’d like to go next.
We’ll identify your unique skills, talents, and personal traits that can help you move toward your goals.
If you decide to take the next step, we’ll define practical strategies to get you closer to where you want to be. This could include reviewing your LinkedIn profile, refining your CV, and discussing other actionable details that will help you move forward with confidence.

Another common challenge I see in my coaching practice is in adapting to life abroad.
Whether you've relocated through your job or you are struggling to find work abroad, adjusting to a new culture and environment can require some planning.
While some people settle in with ease, others find it more hard to navigate their new reality.

Coaching can provide the tools to reflect on practical ways to embrace your present, explore the future, and make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead.
PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING
METHODS I'M USING
Counselling can address temporary problems in psychologically healthy people - such as excessive worrying and stress, feeling stuck, states of deep sadness, confusion regarding your next steps, lack of motivation or inspiration - that mostly determined by the circumstances or life events that are more difficult to process.
Life changes like relocating to a new country, or adjusting to personal changes - a separation, loss - or entering a new phase of your life - becoming a parent or retiring - can be difficult to handle and the emotional toll considerable. Navigating such changes often feels overwhelming, leaving you uncertain about what lies ahead or how to regain your sense of stability.

It’s natural to feel off-balance during times like these. You may notice your energy levels dropping, motivation waning, maybe you worry a lot or the activities you once enjoyed no longer providing the same satisfaction.
It’s tempting to retreat inward, even when deep down, you know that connection and engagement are key to finding your footing again. With guidance, you can work through these emotions, rediscover your resilience, and slowly carve out a path that feels more balanced and manageable.
In our sessions, we’ll take a thoughtful, step-by-step approach. Rather than rushing to quick fixes, we’ll start by exploring your feelings and the specific challenges you’re facing. This mindful process gives you the space to move forward with clarity. Once we've laid that foundation, we’ll work together to create practical strategies—whether it’s establishing small, manageable routines or reshaping your mindset to regain optimism about your future.
This approach, often referred to as the "talking cure," draws on my training in counseling techniques, integrating psychodynamic and attachment theory principles. It’s a collaborative journey where we work together to address and overcome the challenges you’re currently facing, helping you navigate both personal and cultural transitions.

The counselling techniques I use are meant to guide us through a process toward meaningful change. Whether through conversations, reflective exercises, or visual aids, each step is designed to foster deeper understanding and self-awareness, allowing us to:
-
Create a safe space where you can express difficult emotions, particularly in the early stages of our work. By using association techniques, you’ll have the freedom to further explore certain thoughts and feelings as they arise naturally.
-
Reflect at times whether your personal history influences your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Sometimes, understanding these connections can be key to overcoming the challenges you're currently facing, whether they're related to a transition or other situation.
-
Identify patterns from past relationships that may be impacting your present ones, especially those that are no longer helpful. Together, we’ll work on reshaping these dynamics to foster healthier, more supportive connections within your environment.
-
Understand how attachment styles formed in childhood could shape your current relationships. This awareness can help you bring more stability, security, and connection to your most important relationships.
PRACTICAL MATTERS
Currently, I offer coaching and counselling in both English and Romanian.

I work exclusively online, allowing us to connect no matter where you are. This flexibility ensures that your sessions are accessible, whether you're at home, traveling, or managing a busy schedule. While online sessions differ from in-person meetings, they offer the convenience of engaging from your own space and remove the barriers of geographical distance.

Each session lasts 50 minutes, and while weekly meetings are ideal for keeping up momentum, we can adjust the schedule to better align with your commitments.

The length of our work is something we will decide collaboratively, based on your personal goals and needs. For coaching, I typically recommend setting an initial goal of 10 sessions to build momentum and achieve measurable progress.
However, we can always extend this if further sessions are beneficial, or continue with follow-up accountability meetings to track ongoing development.

For psychological counselling, I believe in offering you the space and time to explore your thoughts and emotions at a pace that feels natural. I don’t impose a set number of sessions, as the process often unfolds organically. We will review your progress periodically to ensure we are meeting your goals and adjust as needed. For some, this process may be long-term, while for others, a few focused sessions can be enough to navigate key challenges, such as processing grief or significant life transitions.

My fee is 50 euros (for the moment VAT exempt) per session. At the moment I don’t work with health insurance providers, however working with an independent mental health practitioner gives you the advantage of not depending on a referral, a diagnostic and a specific treatment plan in order to get help.

While I do not provide diagnose, if you are experiencing complaints that could indicate a complex mental health condition, I will refer you to your GP or another specialist.
This ensures you receive the appropriate care and tools to complement our work together, allowing us to focus on broader personal growth while addressing those specific complaints with more specialized support.

If you're unsure whether coaching or counselling is right for you, or if you'd like to explore how either could help you, I invite you to book a complimentary consultation.
This is a chance for us to discuss your needs in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.
